editor - PyCharm to open new file in the tab right next to the right of current-active tab? -

currently pycharm 2016.03, when open new file, tab opened @ end of tab pane.

i google , see 1 old post - open right next feature in past , changed open @ end now.

so if know, if possible, how switch tab-opening mode in pycharm, please share!

that config no longer available (at least in 5.0.5 pro version). still have tabs appearance , closing policy configs under editor -> general -> editor tabs menu, no opening policy.

as workaround can left-click , drag tab in whichever position like.
